ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The course is designed to provide theoretical as well as practical knowledge about deployment and configuration of Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012 R2. The course is one of three courses that provides the knowledge required to implement a core infrastructure of Windows Server 2012 in the current enterprise environment. While other two courses of Windows Server are Administering Windows Server 2012 and Configuring Advanced Windows Server 2012 Services and as a whole, these three courses include the implementation and management of services and infrastructure in a Windows Server 2012 environment.

The new features of Windows Servers help the delegates to get rid of the Server Graphical Shell and support many web programming languages such as PHP, ASP.net, and databases like MS SQL and MySQL. During the course, the delegates will learn how to deploy and manage core services, how to perform basic administrative and post-deployment tasks, how to install a domain controller and how to perform bulk operations by using Windows PowerShell. PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Windows Server 2012 is the server version of Windows 8 and the latest version of Windows Server designed to improve the performance and capabilities of the operating system. It makes multi-server capabilities letting you manage a collection of servers together and also overcomes the limitations of a Server Core installation commitment. The course enables the delegates to create centralized security models for access to network resources and uses affordable hard drives to create a storage pool.

The five-day course focuses on initial installation and configuration of local storage, networks, servers and virtual machine settings storage and also review how to install domain controllers and create and manage group policy by understanding its processing. Throughout the course, the delegates will gain the essential skills and knowledge required to successfully install and manage Windows Server 2012, implement and manage the Hyper-V role during deployment of virtual machines along with server configuration associated with virtualization, utilize Print and Document Services role and implement Group Policies in an Active Directory environment.

ABOUT Cambridge

Cambridge is commonly recognised as the University City. The River Cam flows through the town and it is about 50 miles to the north of London. History

Since prehistoric times, there was an evidence of life. Romans also settled in this place. During the medieval era, Romans were withdrawal from the place around 410. The location was not sure till now as it was deserted by the Britons. Somewhere in the books, the site is commonly mentioned as Cair Grauth. During 1914-1918, Cambridge worked as an important defensive station for the east coast. The population of the city has been drastically increased from the 1930s to 1980s.

Governance

Cambridge district is served by Cambridge City Council of England. Its Local Authority District is the urban area of city. Guildhall is the city headquarters. In 1207, King John granted the Cambridge which allowed the appointment of a mayor. Mayor Post gets selected with the consensus of 14 wards. Elections are held each year to elect a mayor in respective constituency. Sir Issac Newton was also the holder of the seat of House of Commons in the past. Geography and climate

The river Calm flows through the village of Grantchester to the south-west. The city has similar climatic conditions to the UK which gets influenced by the Gulf Stream. The Cambridge region usually experiences less rainfall. Cambridge's average rainfall falls 570 mm per year, around half of the national average rainfall with some years periodically falling into the semi-arid (under 500 mm) category.

Demography

Demography is a flexible phenomenon. As per 2001 census, 90% residents are white, 85% population is of undergraduates and 79% people are postgraduates. Generally, Cambridge people engaged in managerial and administrative jobs than manual workers because of superior education standard. People have higher qualification degrees such as Master’s, PhD or Higher National Diploma. The science festival scheduled every year in the month of March and it is acknowledged as the United Kingdom's biggest free science festival. Cambridge poetry festival has been held biannually for 10 years in the past.
